"And that's about all I'm allowed to look at !"

These superb shots were taken by Bob Doherty (K1VV) - except for his own portrait ! - on 18th January 2001 when the Club celebrated the 98th Anniversary of Marconi's first transatlantic link with Poldhu in Cornwall, England.

IMD 2009 KM1CC will operate from inside a Coast Guard Station (with
electricity) and portable from the historic Marconi Site in South
Wellfleet, MA USA. Since KM1CC will operate from 2 locations, the plan is
to use the call KM1CC at our main operating site while the portable
stations use both KM1CC/CC and KM1CC/IMD.

I am fortunate that many operators want to participate and be part of the
IMD KM1CC operation, thus the reason for the different calls. All QSL
cards should be sent to KM1CC.
